When it comes to eating healthy foods, most people have an idea in their minds about what it is. Almost everyone will consider spinach as a healthy food and cookies as a not-so-healthy food. What about something like pasta? Some people say that pasta is not a healthy food; Others would say it is, and some say it depends on whether it is whole pasta.
What makes it difficult to determine if a food is healthy is that there is no indicator of what makes a food healthy. Is the total number of calories in the food? What about grams of sugar or the amount of vitamins and nutrients? It really only comes down to the person's opinion and what they think is or is not healthy.
Many people who try to lose weight base their diet on what they think is healthy and eat only that type of food. It is still very possible to watch the "healthy" foods and gain weight or at least not lose the amount you wanted. One difference between "foods that are good for you" and "junk" foods is that healthy foods will generally help you feel fuller longer.
Most people will feel fuller after eating a plate of vegetables and lean meats instead of a plate of cakes. Realistically, no one will eat anything other than cakes all the time. People have problems when they never eat their favorite foods, and they always rob themselves of their favorite foods.
In my opinion, there is really nothing like best food healthy and unhealthy foods. I feel this way because there is no indicator of healthy food, and it is totally subjective for what the individual thinks. The sooner you get this idea of healthy food out of your head, the better. Then you can eat food that you like, for example. Ice and do not have to feel guilty of it. You can also go to a restaurant and have fun with your friends. You don't have to eat a salad from the menu when you really don't want to.
The most important thing is to be responsible for the total number of calories you consume and it will be fine. If you eat a cookie, it is fine as long as you stay within your given number of calories. You can compensate if necessary by eating less of something else or by exercising more.
