Here's how to create a Tarot card reading

Tarot card reading is simple.

1. Collect items

Gather all the things you need to read, including tarot cards. You will be quiet as you begin to read.

2. Set the mood

Before you start reading the tarot, consider lighting candles and incense, meditating silently, or breathing slowly and deeply. This will help you focus and open up. It also creates a sacred space for your tarot reading.

3. Determine your reading method

The focus of your tarot reading may be a question or a problem. The key is to choose a question or problem that is very specific. However, you can also do an open tarot reading where you have no questions or problems in mind, you just want to see what the tarot cards reveal.

4. Connect to your Tarot cards

When you have your question in mind, start mixing the tarot cards that you feel called. This is when you focus on connection, your question and the tarot cards. This connection will help you get a clear tarot reading. You can also cut the cards when you are ready to stop mixing.

5. Design your Tarot cards

In advance, you must have a design chosen for reading. Tarot reading designs can be found in books or online. You can also create your own tarot design. After mixing cards and cutting the cards and feeling it is time to place the cards, do so.

6. Interpretation of reading your Tarot card

You have many options Some tarot decks come with books that contain interpretations for each tarot card. It is acceptable to use the book to understand the tarot cards. However, you have other options for reading tarot designs. You can view the artwork on each tarot card and view it as a display of images about your question. You can use the symbolism and interpret each tarot card. You can only rely on your intuition and let your inner voice tell you what each tarot card means. Or you can see the tarot cards as a story with the first tarot card at the beginning of the story and the last tarot card at the end. It is important to observe each tarot card individually and designed as a whole. In other words, get two perspectives: see "the forest" and "the trees."

7. Further interpretation

If there are parts of your tarot reading that you do not understand, or parts that you would like more information about, you can design more tarot cards. For example, if you do not understand the third card in your design, you can place a new tarot card next to it and request clarification. Or, if you understand your tarot reading but have another question or concern, draw one or two tarot cards to focus on the additional information.

8. Remember your Tarot reading

You may want to consider keeping a tarot reading journal in which you record each tarot reading you make. Enter the date, questions and each tarot card in the design. The advantage of registering your tarot reading is that you can return later and read again what your tarot reading contained. It also becomes a diary in your life. If you do not want to do this extra work, you can stay in the moment with your tarot reading and choose not to record it.

9. Finish your Tarot reading

Finish your tarot reading slowly and respectfully. Thank the Universe (or anyone else) for the guidance you received and collect your tarot cards and mix them again with the pile. You can say a few words to end your tarot reading and delete the tarot cards from your old question. The idea is to store a tarot deck that is free of energy from the last reading, so when you begin your next reading you start over. Store your tarot reading items (decks, candles and everything else) as if you are finishing a sacred ritual.

10. To return to reality

When you read the tarot, you work in a sacred space. You heal and connect with the spirit. When you are done, you become engaged again in worldly life. Make sure you are fully present and back in your body before doing things like driving a car or preparing dinner. You can shake your body, stretch, breathe deeply and do other things that eliminate the energy of your body's reading event.
